Spotify
Link your Spotify account and display now playing and top tracks on mychar.gg.
Spotify integration is currently on hold. We've built the full integration - now playing, top tracks, and more - but Spotify requires apps to have 250,000 monthly active users before they approve publishing. We're working towards that goal, and your support helps!
What's Coming
Once we reach the required user threshold, the Spotify integration will let you:
- Show your currently playing track on your profile in real time
- Display your top tracks from the last 4 weeks, 6 months, or all time
- Configure the number of tracks shown (3-5)
- Toggle sections on/off from the builder
How It Will Work
- Go to the builder from your dashboard
- Find the Spotify connection in the sidebar
- Click Connect Spotify and authorize the connection
- Configure your display preferences
Permissions
- Playback info: Your currently playing or recently played tracks
- Top items: Your most listened-to tracks over different time periods
mychar.gg will never control playback, create playlists, or modify your Spotify account. Only read-only access is requested.
